But I have a friend - a Capricorn lawyer, funnily enough - who was just helped by hypnosis, after she started to have panic attacks again. She went to see a hypnotherapist, and then continued to use recordings at home.Padre35Awesome, effective hypno therapy reaches the unconscious sound track we all have playing in our minds..24/7As you think, so you areMankind is only beginning to understand what that ancient Biblical quote really meansPixieJaneI've used self-hypnosis to help myself before, though it was a slow process (as in years long) and done with other things. The caveat is that hypnosis makes the mind especially vulnerable to suggestibility (especially when mixed with drugs) which lends itself to abuse by the unscrupulous (or otherwise compromised), including the creation of false memories (even rewriting actual memories), among other things. Some TV advertisements even use mildly hypnotic techniques to (they hope) make more people more prone to being more easily manipulated for profit.
